This 33 metre (108 ft) sailing yacht, with naval architecture and exterior styling by Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design
is the first yacht delivered by Vitters Shipyard in cooperation with this new design studio.
The Vitters team has a relationship with Naval Architect Malcolm McKeon,
that goes back a long time and this project offered both parties the opportunity to extend their cooperation in high performance light weight construction.
The lightweight carbon fibre hull was constructed at Green Marine, Vitters’ subsidiary in Southampton.
This combined with carefully chosen equipment makes Missy a lightweight high-performance world cruiser.
Comfort and sailing charateristics are high on the agenda and Vitters Shipyard dedicated a vast amount of attention
to noise and vibration control, while keeping an eye on weight goals.
Sailing performance is of course paramount and the sail handling and control is state of the art.
Her lifting keel, with a stroke between 5.0 and 3.75 metre,
offers the combination between good upwind performance and access to shallow water and anchorages
